More Commands is a Mod for Minecraft 1.17.1 / 1.16.5 which adds more than 100 commands to the Minecraft chat console. It is similar to the single player Commands mod, which is a similar mod but no longer has support for new versions of the game. Unlike single player commands, you don’t need to modify your minecraft.jar because it’s one Forge Mod. This mod also uses the client-server model and therefore is NOT limited to one player, you can also use it Forging server.
What’s so interesting about it?
In each version of the game, the mod will add a different number of commands, in version 1.7.2 and higher it will be higher than 35 and in version 1.12 they will already exceed 100 commands. To see a list of commands of a specific version of the mod, enter the chat / chelp command, there are several pages with commands and descriptions.
Client and server commands: By default, commands are always handled by the server, so if you join a server, the server must have this mod installed to use the commands (single player is only an internal server). Forge adds the ability to process client-side commands, so you can use commands on servers that do not have this mod installed. In any case, most commands are handled on the server side simply because they have to work on the server.
In addition, there are commands that require the installation of this add-on on both sides. Commands that do not request it have the possibility to request it without installing this mod by the client or in the absence of construction of this mod on the server (for example, players who buy on the server have the possibility to apply the command “fly” in the absence of installation of mods, in case the mod is installed (is placed on the server). Functions on the contrary, for example, the indication of the “cloud” is possible to apply on each server. Ultimately, such indications as “noclip” cause, so the mod was set on the server also on the client). If you want to disable all client-side commands without exception, you can use “disable client commands” (or enable to enable).
How to disable commands: the mod will create a file called “disable.cfg” (located in the “minecraft_installation_folder / config / morecommands” folder). You can put commands there and they will be disabled (for example, if you want to use the “enchant” command)
